Offshore wind energy is the best source of cheap electricity on earth. Countries with the most wind generation have the lowest power bills - sometimes even producing free electricity. 

But right now the Trump Administration is putting wind projects on hold. Trump and the fossil fuel lobby have teamed up to bottleneck nearly every offshore wind project in America – forcing layoffs, wasting millions in taxpayer money, and holding up clean energy projects that could lower our electricity costs.

State governments have the power to give these essential projects a second life by defending and adjusting the contracts they have with offshore wind companies. By standing behind these projects, states can keep wind farms economically viable and project them from Trump’s attacks.
